Randy Moss had to enjoy his return to Oakland this weekend. It was a home-coming welcome complete with red carpet… Ok, so it was a green carpet and it was made of grass but the carpet was there nonetheless and it led straight into the endzone for Moss and a few of his teammates.
Yeah, the Pats looked more like their old selves yesterday but they were playing the 3-10 Raiders. And it may be too late for New England anyway. At the very least they’ll need help next week from the 3-13 Seahawks and a 2-12 Chiefs team. The Jets have been stumbling lately and might have fallen again yesterday if it weren’t for a Losman fumble.
Miami is a different story. They’re hot right now and show no signs of cooling off. They’re 4-1 over their last 5 games with their only loss coming at the hands of the Patriots back in week 12. I’m sure they’d like nothing better than beating Kansas City and putting another nail in coffin for the Pats.
Oh well, that’s why they play the games – anything can happen.
