In the second game of the 1978 regular season the Raiders played the Chargers. Trailing 20-14 in the fourth quarter with less than a minute to play. Ken Stabler was sacked by Woodrow Lowe losing the football. The RB tried to recover the ball but he kicked it towards the end zone instead. The TE kicked the ball as well to the end zone and he covered it there for the TD. The Raiders tied the game and then won it with the Extra Point.
