A yankees fan and a redsox fan are driving across a bridge in opposite directions. Well, they wind up crashing into each other. The redsox fan and the yankees fan begin to argue with each other until the yankees fan stops and looks at the redsox fan and says “you know “our teams have been rivals for so long its about time that we made peace with one another”. Reaching into his trunk he pulls out a bottle of whiskey and says “lets have a drink and finally resolve our conflict once and for all”. The redsox fan agrees that they have been fighting for too long and takes a drink from the bottle. He hands it back to the yankees fan who tosses it off of the bridge. The red sox fan asks “what did you do that for, i thought we were going to make peace and have a drink with one another?”
The yankees fan replies “you just try to explain that to the police when they arive. No one would believe that a yankees fan and a redsox fan tried to make peace, and your the one with alchohol on your breath
just wondering if the average person understands, ive had people not get this joke before
