Why the hell is he complaining? The Red Sox paid him 20 million per season for the past 8 years. That’s 160 million dollars. This guy would be driving a cab in NYC or picking fruit in the Dominican Republic if it wasn’t for baseball. He has been in the USA for 23 years and can barely speak English. He’s a 36 year old with a 13 year old mentality. I hope the Red Sox do trade him, good riddance. Why would they want to pick up his 2 option years at 20 million a pop. I wouldn’t. He’s overweight, he’s lazy, he complains, and he’s not producing like he used to, plus he’s old. You agree?

Yes, I can believe he said it.
He may be acting like a jerk, but the man wants to get paid and if he feels like he’s not being respected by the Red Sox organization, he has the right to feel this way.
No one knows any of what’s happening behind closed doors. All the fans see is that Manny is trashing the Sox organization and you don’t like that he’s blasting your favorite team.

Calling him overweight is a bit much. He weighs 8 lbs more than he did in 1992 [as a rookie].
He just wears a bigger uniform than most people.
I agree that he shouldnt be saying the things that he’s saying, but for years Boston fans dismissed it as “Manny being Manny”. The other fans saw what a d-bag he could be for years now, Sox fans are just catching up to the pack.
It’s funny how much forgiveness can be found in first place, isnt it?

also it really doesnt matter because you have yokullis, lowell (who is also old), ortiz, drew, pedoria, elisbury, and more and you guys still could possibly win the division without him so it really doesnt matter

He is right though. The owner for the RedSox is a complete moron. The Boston fans want to win and have a great team. That is it and trading Manny the yankee killer is a moronic move to say the least.
Blame the owner in Boston because he has done this in the past as well and may be the biggest idiot in baseball.

Manny is correct in what he says about the RedSox management. They suck, If they get rid of Manny there edge against the Yankees and the rest of the Major league will be gone. Who will replace his RBI production and Home Run threat. Look with-out Manny Big Pappy is nothing but a out. Manny loves the Boston fan but not the RedSox Management.
