Charles A asked:
In April, I traveled to San Fran to see my friends and went to a Giants game. Ike, our usser (sp?), gave my friends and mine 2 trivia questions. On the MLB logo, we see a batter standing ready. What is his name? Second, is he a lefty or a righty? My friends and I left before the game was over. So, I tried all of the internet (ie WiKi, MLB.com, ect.) but got no luck. Any one knows the answers?

Allegedly, the logo is of Harmon Killebrew. He was a right handed batter. However, MLB disputes this claim.

The MLB logo is NOT modeled after a real player. Also, the batter on the logo could be either right or left-handed, it is completely ambiguous.
