i like neither team. i like the yankees least of all. i think steinbrenner is a good owner i.e. he puts good money into the team but its also not a level playing ground. up until recently the yankees recieved the bulk of the profit sharing and the TV contracts in baseball so the boss has tons more money to play with.

Red Sox – 6 rings
20, COUNT EM, 20 CHAMPIONSHIPS AND PEOPLE STILL SAY THERE’S A RIVALRY. NEVER IN SPORTS HAS THERE BEEN A MORE LOPSIDED RIVALRY EVER.

I think that people generally do not **** the yankees, they **** yankee fans who are arrogant and full of themselves. Look at most of their posts, ” We won 26 rings”, no the yankees won 26 rings, you won nothing.
Yankee fans say 2004 is over, stop living in the past, but then they bring up 26 rings in the same sentance. Youan not have it both ways.
If the yankees are such an historically great team, why did one of the greatest yankees of all time, Don Mattingly, never play in the post season? How many consecutive years did the yanks miss the playoffs, 14, 15 or 16?
Most of the yankee faithful are only faithful when they are winning, and even then the support is spotty at best. How many consecutive sell outs of yankee stadium this year?
