    It depends on the definition of good. If you are expecting him to make the all star team…good luck…if he still played in the east he could, but when competing against the likes of CP3, D-Williams, Tony Parker and Steve Nash…it’s just not gonna happen. Will he lead the Mavericks to the playoffs…yes…A division championship…a playoff series win…MAYBE…western conference champions…no.

    I think Kidd is too old to keep up with the young PGs now. I think he will do all right for his age but you won’t be seeing him drop 25-30 points and 10 assists in most games. I think he got a good chance on making the team. It all depends on the votes. He will be competing with Nash, Paul, Williams, Billups etc.

    Jason Kidd is a classy man. He has a ton of skill, but he is too old to catch up with Chris Paul, Deron Williams, and the rest of the young point guards.
