There were many problems with the flyover starting on the ground where the pilots were given the wrong information for timing which created that whole mess to begin with..

Just saw the vid. I have 1500 hrs in the F-16 and numerous flybys under my belt. All I can say about #4 is: What a clown. The whole formation looked like crap. Opening Day at Fenway?? C’mon, you gotta do better than that. I don’t think it was planned…I think he just f’ed up the rejoin and had nowhere to go. Regardless of whether or not he’s ‘punished,’ #1 and #4 should be embarrassed.

He was grounded for remedial training, NOT to be punished. It was a legit manuevor he just did it lower than protocol allows which is why he’s not “in trouble” per se. No one was ever in any danger on the ground or in the air.
He was late to the formation so he was pusing the throttle, and what he did is a method of slowing down quickly so he could rejoin the formation.

I thought that damn F16 was a bird. From my angle all I saw was it flying horizontally and it looked to be spiraling. Crazy ****.

Hi, I’m from Vermont where the jets are from. We don’t have F-18’s, those are F-16s.
