On ebay, search for red sox tickets and sort it by price, lowest first. You will be surprised on how cheap you can get decent tickets.

You will always pay more than face value for Red Sox tickets. There are no cheap ones unless someone gives thenm to you.

Probably the easiest way is to go on ebay or stubhub.com. Those are probably the cheapest ways. Red Sox’s games are always sold out. Over 300 consecutives games and counting. I got tickets for 1 game on June 2 against the Yankees, right behind the bullpen in right field.

There are no sure thing cheap alternatives sweetheart. I am a life long Red Sox fan, and every single year I go to atleast one game: My recommendation is Good ol’ eBay. If you go on during the right times (Mid day mornings/afternoons) you can steal some tickets for maybe 20% over face value.

I got two tix to April 11th, which is a Wednesday evening game, 2nd game of the season @ home versus the Seattle Mariners, and I bought them over a month ago (before anyone knew that Daisuke was throwing that night) and I spent $255 for two tix, 11th row box seats along the 3rd base line.

I have been trying to do the same thing .I have found the only way to get tickets is through Ace Tickets.Try joining up with Red Sox Nation or Rem Dawg nation.They have several drawings for Red Sox tickets usually a few times a week and it doesn’t cost much to join.Give it a try !!!!

Cheap? pbbft. When all the games are sold out, and the team is still doing well, your gonna have to end up paying quite a bit of coin to get a ticket from someone.

If you do want a cheap alternative, about the only 2 things are

1. Connections. If you know someone that has tickets, and you know will sell them to you for a good price, thats one route.

2. The Red Sox have to bomb. But if your a Red Sox fan, you wouldnt want that to happen.

It may be worth hanging outside the park a couple hours or so before game time. There’s a ticket window on Landsdowne St. (Gate E?) that opens to sell anything that becomes available last minute. A weekend game, warm weather – that reduces your odds, but you never know. Good luck!

I moved to Boston from Minnesota late last year and I caught two games at Fenway, both times I bought my tickets through a website called Stubhub.com and I paid $25 and $12/per ticket for each game.

However, the Red Sox ****** at the end of last season and no one was showing up to games. I’ve already bought two tickets to two different games and spent over $300. That’s a season ticket package back in Minnesota.

I really don’t think you’re going to find any “cheap” alternatives, because it’s a small stadium and it sells out ridiculously fast. However, if you try stubhub, you can save some serious money compared to what the scalpers will charge.

At the game that I paid $12 to get in, the scalpers were asking $75/per ticket. Talk about steep!

Depending on who the Sox are playing that weekend you might get in cheaper than you’d expect though. I bought tickets for the June 17th game against the Giants and those cost me roughly $70/ a piece.
