God, this makes me miss home so much! :’)

I actually lived in Kenmore square for two years and could hear the crowd chanting Sweet Caroline and cheering during the games from my suite window. It was pretty awesome.

Boston is a *** city? Yeah it’s also the greatest city this decade in the sports world. We have the most championships out of every other city. So think before you type dumbass.

No kidding. I remember going to the one Toronto game last year where the B’s got blown out and it was half empty at the Garden. It just shows the bandwagon is back in full force when the B’s win

  • 12 gobruins4824 // Aug 22, 2009 at 7:25 am

excacly i would rather sit in the balconi for a toronto bruins game then go to the sox game

  • 13 bergeron422 // Aug 24, 2009 at 7:44 am

lol when the red sox were in the world series in 2007, and game 2 was on and i had a chance to go, i went to the bruins-blackhawks game. the new ownership, along with the 2 championships, have also turned red sox nation into bandwagon nation.

8th inning. Sweet Caroline is sung in the 8th inning. Find me at SRO, Sec 21.

I’m a lifelong fan too. 4th generation. Brought up on the Sox. My Grandfather and his father were both ushers at Fenway. I can easily produce a couple tickets from 1960 that cost $5. Pink hats and silly/fun songs don’t dictate a lack of dedication, history or game knowledge, they’re just things. Silly and useless things I’ll agree. I also think it is the recent winning records that drove ticket prices up and drew in bandwagon fans, and not a wacky fun random Neil Diamond song in the 7th.

im a diehard, lifelong red sox fan and sweet caroline at the 7th inning is the stupidest tradition in sports. it just got big out of you stupid pink hat, bandwagon fans that want to marry jacoby and can’t even name 3 relief pitchers without papelbon in that mix. it’s because of people who sing this pointless song at the 7th that decent seats are $50. stay at home and let people who know how to score a sacrifice bunt go to the games!!!!!

  • 19 yankfan08161985 // Sep 2, 2009 at 12:16 pm

i wanna go to fenway..just to be part of this…i will get bashed by sox fans cause i love my yanks but i just want to be part of the song if its ok?

  • 20 knasty827 // Sep 2, 2009 at 8:47 pm

    agree with gobruins1211.

I wouldn’t be anywhere close to Fenway during a B’s playoff game.

  • 21 Wheelhouse406 // Sep 5, 2009 at 12:34 am

absolutely. Theres no way i would be there with Bruins/habs playoffs.

  • 22 bergeron422 // Sep 7, 2009 at 1:13 am

dude i was at that game against the blackhawks too, and the sox werent just in the playoffs, it was world series game 2 !! lol

  • 23 Glennbruin // Sep 7, 2009 at 7:28 am

  • 24 born4soccer30 // Sep 9, 2009 at 8:04 am

meaneyme name the last time montreal has won anything, while boston last year won with the celtics, red sox, eagles, the revs almost won the mls cup, and the pats were a game away from the greatest season ever

  • 25 titsmcgee09 // Sep 11, 2009 at 1:38 pm

im the kinda bruins fan that goes to the 3rd home game when the sox r in the playoffs. like game 3 only like under 9,000 fans chara re-broke a blackhawks nose orig 6 match up old time hockey YEAAAAAAAH!

does me goin to the b’s game make me not a sox fan cuz i am i just love the b’s way better cuz hockey isnt a ***** sport.
