Bowling ball question?

January 4th, 2010 · 2 Comments

Guillermo asked:

I’m 16 years old and about 110-115 lbs. I’ve used a 12 lb bowling ball for the past two season in my winter league. This summer I plan to get a new ball. Do you think 14 lbs is going to be too heavy for me? I know the pro shop guy can help me, but what I was just wondering.

hi. my dad and grandpa have been bowling ever sense they were little kids. and now ive goten into it. my dad bought me a bowling ball. and ijsut turned 16 im 5′9 and i use a 14 pound ball.
my little brother who is 13 also uses a 14 pound bowling ball.
you should probably try a 15 or 16. see how it feels & practice before you get an actual ball.
