Maddon had a great year, but it’s one. You have to go with experience here and pick Francona.

La Russa. he always seems to do more with less and Torre seems to do ok with a stacked lineup only.

The Dodgers NEEDED Ramirez to become a better than .500 team this past year.

    terry francona

Francona: Has won it all twice in just a few years!

LaRussa: Will be one of the best ever when it’s all said and done.

    Terry Francona, sustained success

Joe Torre, he would know better than to try to get the pitcher some extra at bats by hitting him eighth.

Joe Maddon, he is great at reaching different young developing players

Torre, he has had a great record in the Bronx and will be remembered as better

    terry francona

How many World Series rings does Joe Maddon have? That’s right zero. How many does Terry Francona has? 2. I pick Terry Francona here and I think anyone who picks Maddon is outside of their minds.

Again, when it comes to managers I have to go to the guy with more rings. Joe Torre.

maddon because he has done a great job building his team to be contenders.

Torre, his tenure in New York speaks for itself.

    Joe Maddon

    Tony LaRussa

(I think Francona is good because of the team, look what he did in Philadelphia, that’s why I picked Joe Maddon…I also looked at what Torre did with The Mets and Cardinals, and not the Yankees.)

Francona – He’s shown success over a longer period. If Maddon can continue to succeed with the Rays they he’ll deserve it, but you can’t base it off 1 year.

LaRussa – barely. LaRussa has succeeded with less talented teams, Torre’s always had the talent to succeed.
