Fenway originally seated 35,000 fans, making it one of the largest parks when it opened. In the days of less stringent fire laws, fans packed into the park, even standing in the outfield behind ropes. The largest crowd ever at Fenway was over 47,000 for a doubleheader against New York in 1935. Currently the park seats 36,108 for night games and 35,692 for day games.Directions to Fenway Park
